Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to anyone using services delivered or managed by Silver Ridge Cyber, LLC, including end users at our client organizations. It is designed to protect our clients, our team, and the systems we manage.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use services delivered or managed by Silver Ridge to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Send spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited communications
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of any system
- Harvest or collect information about others without permission
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, or threats of violence
Resource Usage
Services we deliver are intended for legitimate business use. Activities that consume disproportionate resources, such as cryptocurrency mining on managed devices, are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing.
Security Cooperation
You agree to cooperate with reasonable security measures we put in place, including multi-factor authentication, password policies, software updates, and endpoint protection. Disabling security controls without authorization is grounds for service suspension.
Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this AUP, please notify us promptly at hello@silverridgecyber.com.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including warnings, suspension of access, removal of content, or termination of service. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
